You and your spouse (living in household).
Your children under the age of 18 living in the household.
Once your children reach the age of 18, and they are still members of your household, they must have their own membership.
Both our insurance policy and our operating permit prohibit anyone under the age of 18 from shooting unsupervised at our facility. The supervising adult must be a current club member in good standing (meaning current dues paid and completion of the safetyorientation).
As the purchasing member, it is your responsibility to ensure that all family members using the range are in compliance with safety and range rules at all times.
The CCSS membership year runs from January 1 to December 31.
All membership fees are non-refundable.
Memberships are non-transferable.
-
Definitely. You can switch plans, upgrade, or make changes to your membership anytime by speaking with the general manager.

Yes. Current members may bring guests to CCSS facilities, subject to the following guidelines:
Local guests: A guest may visit CCSS as a guest once. They may not be a former CCSS member. If they wish to use CCSS facilities again, they must purchase their own membership.
Out-of-area guests: Guests who live outside the local driving area and are visiting you may visit more than once during their stay. We recognize that purchasing a membership may not be practical for someone who lives a significant distance away.
Guest registration: All guests must complete the CCSS waiver and sign the guestbook in the clubhouse upon arrival.
Member must be present: Guests may not visit or use CCSS facilities without the current member who invited them being present.
Former members: Former CCSS members who have not renewed their membership may not use the premises as guests. The exception is when they are attending a club-sponsored event.
Member responsibility: The member bringing a guest is responsible for ensuring that their guest follows all CCSS range rules and safety regulations.
-
Each member will receive a membership card which is issued each new membership year.
All members are required to have their membership card on their person whenever using the club facility. You may be approached to verify that you are a club member. If you are unable to verify your membership, you may be asked to leave.

Only the Board of Directors and the General Manager have the authority to close a range (or part of a range) for scheduled events. The only exception would be for closure due to work or repairs to ensure the safety of those individuals working on the range.
All other closures must be approved by the Board of Directors or General Manager.
All shooters must shoot from the designated firing lines on all ranges. Moving forward of the firing line to shoot, on any range, constitutes a closure of the range and is prohibited without Board of Director approval.
You will find information on range scheduling and closures on the CCSS web page, in social media, and posted outside the Clubhouse.
If there is a scheduled high power rifle event, the schedule will indicate whether it is a 200 or 300 yard event and the start and end time. If the event is scheduled for the 300 yard range, any range forward of the 300 yard line will be closed.
Start and end times for scheduled events are “approximate” times and may vary based on number of participants, etc.
Scheduled programs that require some or all ranges to be closed are:
High power rifle events, Jr. small-bore practice, recreational pistol, hunter safety field work, cowboy events, Women On Target, and Law Enforcement training weeks (always during week-days)
All of these events (except Law Enforcement training) are open to the public and are significant sources of revenue for the Club. The revenue generated from these programs, along with significant member volunteer work, are among the reasons for our ability to continue to offer membership at very reasonable rates.
-
In order to keep this facility open for all to enjoy, we must keep it safe.
It is important that each member take an active part in this process.
CCSS requires a safety orientation because there have been occasional (one is too many) occurrences of unsafe practices.
If a member observes an unsafe act, bring the unsafe act to the attention of individual(s) involved and, if necessary, record their license plate number and report them to any Officer listed on your membership card.

The club has installed “swinging targets” at the 100, 200 yard and Pistol Range impact.
Specifically approved targets by the Board of Directors are the only non-paper targets allowed outside of a sanctioned event.
The Pistol Range swinging targets are not to be moved from their location at the bottom of the impact berm.
-
The Board of Directors has defined basic rules that apply in all shooting conditions:
All firearms must be in control at all times. This includes handling and actually firing.
All firearms must be pointed in a safe direction at all times.
All firearms are to remain unloaded until ready to fire.
All fingers must be off triggers until ready to fire.
Firearms must be unloaded with actions open, and there must be no handling of firearms when anyone is downrange at the impact berms.
